The manor house was completed by 1742, and a three – tory octagonal neo – gothic tower was addes to it in the 19th century. Apriķi manor had benn the property of the von Osten – Sackens’family since the 16th century, but later was owned by the von Corfu family from 1790 to 1852. In 1901 the manor bought Carl Gustaf Mannerheim – former president of Finland and author of legendary Mannerheim line – fortification sistem during Winter War (1939 – 1940).
